Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA), Postal Regulatory Commission

The mission of the OCA is to be a vigorous, responsive, and effective advocate for reasonable and equitable treatment of the general public in proceedings before the Postal Regulatory Commission.

The Commission holds hearings and makes recommendations to the Governors of the Postal Service on proposed changes in postal rates and mail classifications. The OCA represents the interests of the general public in such cases. The Commission and the OCA are separate from the Postal Service and have no involvement in mail delivery and service.
