There are multiple editions of the 'Guide', some which deal with specific issues such as housing or credit.   • The Better Hearing Institute
    This non-profit organization educates the public about hearing-loss and its prevention. Its many services and programs include a call center which answers questions about hearing loss and brochures about certain subjects. The website also contains a list of resources and important information about hearing loss.

  • The Carpet & FabriCare Institute
    The Carpet & FabriCare Institute a non-profit regional trade association of carpet and textile cleaners serving California, Arizona and Nevada.They handle cleaning problems with furniture fabric. If the cleaner is a member, the Institute will contact the cleaner on your behalf. Even if the cleaner is not a member, file a complaint with the Institute and it will advise you on how to proceed.

  • The Center for Enriched Living (THE CENTER)
    The Center provides physical, educational, and skill development programs for people of all ages with developmental disabilities who live in the Mid-West. A number of activities including music, drama, dance, and technology rotate through three ten week sessions and one eight week summer session. A newsletter, upcoming events, and pertinent links are found on the website.

  • The Make A Wish Foundation
    This organization grants the wishes of children under the age of eighteen who are suffering from a life-threatening medical condition.

    Offers stock quotes, news, charts and data, model portfolios, and personal finance advice.

  • The National Association for the Deaf
    This organization helps to maintain the rights of the deaf. It provides programs in the areas of education, employment, healthcare, and telecommunications. The NAD finds the key issues that are facing the deaf and provides infomation and resources to the consumer. Finally it offers youth leadership training and many more services for the deaf.
