Oregon - Weights and Measures Office
The mission of the Measurement Standards Division is four-fold:
* Prevent fraud by ensuring that weighing and measuring devices used in commerce are accurate and correctly used,
* Prevent fraud through transaction verifications and by checking packaged products for correct net contents and labeling,
* Ensure that motor fuels meet national standards for quality, and
* Provide official and traceable mass, volume, and length calibration services.
